Rules

These rules apply to all submissions to HSREndgameDB.

1. Submissions must be related to supported Honkai: Star Rail endgame content

HSREndgameDB currently accepts clears from Memory of Chaos (MoC), Pure Fiction (PF), Apocalyptic Shadow (AS), and Anomaly Arbitration (AA).

Gameplay from other modes, such as Simulated Universe, Divergent Universe, overworld enemies, Echo of War, Calyx encounters, or other games, will not be accepted.

Reason: HSREndgameDB is built to document searchable Honkai: Star Rail endgame clears for supported modes.

2. Submissions must link to a YouTube video

All submissions must include a valid YouTube link.

If the submitted clear is part of a longer video, compilation, guide, stream archive, or multi-clear showcase, submit a timestamped link that starts at the relevant clear.

Reason: HSREndgameDB currently supports YouTube-based clear submissions.

3. Videos must show enough footage to verify the clear and score

Videos must show enough of the run to verify the submitted mode, stage or level, version or phase when relevant, final result, and score.

Score means the relevant metric for the submitted mode, such as cycles, points, action value, or other mode-specific scoring shown by the game.

Videos that omit essential parts of the clear, such as mode-specific buff or modifier selection, may be rejected unless the omitted information is clearly explained or generally verifiable through the content of the video.

Reason: Viewers should be able to confirm that the submitted clear matches the video.

4. Videos must include character build information

Submissions must show the relics, light cones, and eidolons of the characters used in the clear.

The build showcase may appear before or after the clear, but it must be included in the submitted video or clearly linked from the submission.

Reason: Build information is necessary for understanding clears.

5. Submissions must come from official live releases

Clears from content creator experience servers or other pre-release environments will not be accepted.

Reason: Pre-release environments may differ from the live game and may be subject to NDA or other sharing restrictions.

6. Submission titles and descriptions must primarily document the clear

Titles, descriptions, and notes should be directly related to the submitted clear.

Helpful context is welcome, including strategy notes, build notes, credits, and links to relevant resources. Unrelated commentary, unrelated promotion, spam, or attempts to use HSREndgameDB as general-purpose file or text storage may be removed.

Reason: HSREndgameDB exists to document clears and make them easier to find.

7. Do not submit hateful, harassing, obscene, or otherwise abusive content

User-submitted titles, descriptions, notes, and linked content must not include hateful, harassing, obscene, or abusive material.

Reason: HSREndgameDB should remain useful and accessible for players browsing clear data.

8. Promotion must be relevant and limited

Submissions may include relevant credits, build resources, strategy guides, or links that help explain the clear.

Unrelated advertising, merchandise links, affiliate links, and promotions for unrelated people, products, or services are not allowed.

Reason: Helpful references and proper credit are useful; unrelated advertising is not.

9. Do not submit misleading duplicates or miscredited clears

Do not submit the same clear multiple times in a misleading way.

If you submit a clear created by someone else, the title or description should not imply that you performed the clear. Credit the original creator when known.

Reason: HSREndgameDB depends on accurate clear records and clear attribution.

  • Site administrators refer to these rules when moderating user-submitted content, but retain final discretion when interpreting and enforcing them.
